What to expect from experience?
- You place your order through our website.
- You receive confirmation of your order in an e-mail, including an invoice.
- You receive another automated e-mail from the customer service manager assigned to you, introducing him/her.
- Shortly afterwards, if there are any questions/issues about your order, you will get a personal e-mail from your customer service manager. If you do not receive this third email, all your order details are clear and we will proceed.
- A talented sculptor begins sculpting the head based on the photographs you sent in.
- A painter paints the body you chose, based on the specifications you indicated. In the case of the custom body doll, another sculptor will be sculpting the body, and you will receive photos of the body prior to painting.
- Approximately 1 week after you placed your order (Express) or 2 weeks (Standard), you should receive a picture of the sculpted head in an e-mail (and sculpted body if it applies).
- At this point, you will be asked to review the head and compare the likeness with the actual person. You want to take an especially good look at the facial features (nose, eyes, chin, etc.) so that if there are any changes, you can have them done now. You will then pick either "Accept" or "Correct".
- If you picked "Correct", we will go ahead and make the changes you requested and get back to you with new pictures within a few days. Your first round of changes will be free and subsequent round changes will be charged.
- Once you "Accept" the head, it is then baked and painted. At that point, you shall receive another e-mail with a picture of your completed bobblehead. You will then, once again, have the option between choosing "Accept" and "Correct".
- Once the complete bobblehead is accepted, it will be prepared for shipping. The head is glued on, the doll is varnished and it is then packed up and shipped to you!
