Change a color on clothing: Simply click on one of the color swatches and it will automatically appear on the doll.
Choose a color other than those available: simply include the color and the item you want painted that color in the special instructions box. Though you will not be able to add this color to your virtual bobble, your actual bobble will be painted this color.
Choose a sports uniform: search or browse the list of sports uniforms and click on one to make it appear on the doll. If you do not see a uniform that matches your needs, simply type in the name of the team that you would like in the "uniform" box. You may attach photos of the uniform in step 3, and describe how it should be painted in the special instructions box in step 4.

Step 3
Crop a head photo: first upload the photo into spot 1 (and spot 2 if this is a wedding or 2-on-1 base doll). Then click "Crop and Place on Bobble" button. The photo will appear in a window with an oval. Place the head photo as near to the center of this oval as possible. You may resize the photo using the method described below in "resizing an accessory or photo". Once the photo is in the center of the oval, click the "Next Step (Create the Outline)" button in the bottom left corner. Next you will see the photo with 8 crop handles on it, you can click on any one of these with your mouse, hold down the left button, and then drag in our out to better frame the face. Once you are done with this, click the "Apply Outline" button in the bottom left corner, and the cropped head will now be placed on the doll preview panel. You may then follow the instructions in "Resize an accessory or photo" and "Move an accessory or photo" to resize the head in proportion to the doll and place it on the doll.
Place an accessory on the doll: simply check off the accessory you would like to purchase/place on the doll and then select the style of accessory (e.g. actual pair of sunglasses) from the available list of items by double clicking on it. Once the green frame appears around the accessory you may drag and drop it where desired on the preview panel with the photo of the doll. In each corner of the green frame is a rotate and resize handle. By using the curved green arrow you may rotate the accessory or by using the straight green error and dragging in and out while holding down the mouse button, you may resize.
Move an accessory or photo: simply click on the item and a green frame will appear around it when you have selected it. Then left click and hold your mouse button and drag and drop the item where you would like it.
Resize an accessory or photo: move your mouse to any corner of the green frame until a straight line with arrows at each end appears. Now click and hold the mouse and drag the arrows towards the center of the item to make smaller or away from the center of the item to make larger.
Rotate an accessory or photo: move your mouse to any corner of the green frame until a curved line with arrows at each end appears. Now click and hold the mouse and move it in the direction you would like the accessory to rotate.
Change the color of an accessory: for any item which an accessory color can be changed, a four colored box appears in the upper right and lower left corners of the green frame when the accessory is selected. This color pallete is directly next to the delete "x". Click on this color button and the full color pallete will appear, and you can choose your desired color.
Delete an accessory or photo: Simply move your mouse to the item or photo you would like to delete, click on it and the green frame will appear. Click the "x" in the upper right or lower left corner of the frame to delete the item.
Add a custom logo: choose the check box for a logo, and click the "custom logo" button that appears under the stock clip art logos. Follow the instructions above for moving, resizing and rotating an accessory to add to doll.

Step 4
Create a password: simply choose "register" where the username and password fields appear and type in your email address and desired password (you only need to type it once).
Login for existing users: imply choose "login" where the username and password fields appear and type in your email address and password.
